Celebrate Old Maids’ Day
Wear a $15–$25 hat* to celebrate Old Maids’ Day across the country. In observance of Sainte-Catherine, French women have celebrated November 25 as “Old Maids’ Day” since the 1100s. It is still observed in France and was originally a coming-of-age feast for single twenty-five-year-olds. According to tradition, ladies dress in large, green hats, mockingly accepting the idea and society’s expectations.

Come celebrate being single in style with us. The $15–$25 hats*, which go back to centuries-old French customs, represent the essence of Old Maids’ Day. As women wear these hats around the nation to challenge preconceptions and celebrate their independence from marriage, embrace the comedy and feelings of empowerment that come with it.
